Starting at 7:00 AM, the following streets will be without water:

• North Avenue from Third Street to Collins Avenue
• Virginia Avenue from Third Street to Sixth Street
• Tevebaugh Road
• Straube Avenue from Schiller Street to Dorthea Street
• Concordia, Villa St. Joseph, Baden Academy Complex

This project will take most of the day. Once the water is back on, you may experience slight discoloration or air in your lines; simply run your cold water taps for a few minutes until it clears. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we complete these necessary infrastructure upgrades.

On Armed Forces Day, May 16, 2026, we will salute our armed forces, police, fire department, and EMS with a ceremony followed by exhibits, re-enactments, and demonstrations in a show of gratitude to our service men, founders, and first responders who have sacrificed their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to allow us the freedoms we so enjoy.

On June 20, 2026, we are celebrating labor, industry, and agriculture. We are blessed with rivers, railways, and a great farming community through 250 years that has allowed hard work and sweat equity to grow our economy. Come enjoy patriotic music, local food, and fun filled community activities for kids of all ages!

• Parking: Please remove all vehicles from the streets onto private driveways or yards, if possible. Trucks plow snow from the roads toward the curbs, and vehicles left on the street will be plowed in and prevent a full curb-to-curb clear.
• Plowing Priority: Due to the predicted heavy snowfall, primary streets will be plowed first. Alleys will be cleared once the main roads are safe for travel.
• Do Not Shovel onto Streets: It is illegal to shovel or blow snow onto the streets. This snow will only be plowed back toward the curbs and sidewalks.
• Fire Hydrants: If there is a fire hydrant on your property, please try to clear the snow around it so it is visible and accessible for emergency services.
• Check on Neighbors: Please remember to check on your elderly neighbors.

On January 5, the biennial reorganization meeting took place in the Baden Borough Council Chambers. Our newly elected (and reelected) officials were sworn in, including Mayor Andy Gall and Councilmembers Dawn Singleton, Shannon Reynolds, Joe Bosh, and Tom Turney. As of today, all door-to-door salespeople will be required to acquire a permit from the borough office. These permits are subject to an application process that includes the submission of a criminal background check report and a schedule of the days and times during which they intend to be in town. Solicitation may only occur between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm. Solicitation is not permitted on Sundays or on holidays recognized by the United States or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Applicants whose permits are approved will be listed on the Soliciting and Canvassing in Baden Borough page with the approved dates and times. Solicitors must keep a copy of their approved application on their person at all times and display it upon request.

Per the updated ordinance, solicitors may not knock on the doors of homes displaying a “No Solicitation” sticker of any kind. Complimentary “No Solicitation” decals are available at the borough office.
