Baden Borough is in the planning stages of an effort to build a fishing pier along the Ohio River. Below are preliminary illustrations of the pier. Check back regularly for updates!

Project Phases:

1. Build retaining wall on the east elevation. Backfill slope with rip rad, trim trees
2. Improve road way shoulder for parking. Signage and area descending and ascending fishing area, place two surveillance cameras.
3. Ramp/walkway and floating 30′ dock. With area for ADA, kayak to put in. Trash barrels and port-a-john.

Review Survey:

1. Get permission from Westview for use of the land (99-year lease and electrical hookup for camera)
2. Change permit to reflect fishing and kayak usage
3. Secure any necessary Army Corps of Engineers permits
4. Beaver County Conservation consultation for excavation of the east slope for erosion control
5. Check with fish and boat commission
6. ADA response
7. Insurance tort and liability
8. Secure vendors for surveillance, tree service, and CBS concrete
